The adhesives used in manufacturing plywood is extremely flexible and prevents the wood from shrinkage, cracks and bending. • MDF: The Medium Density Fiber Core hardwood plywood is extremely study and is consistent throughout. The wood is free of any blisters and voids, resulting in better durability and tight bonding. It does not chip when it is cut, thus making it one of the most used plywood for creating custom designs. A variety of carpentry tools can be safely used to shape and cut the wood, since it is tightly bonded.
• MDO and HDO: The Medium and high density overlay consists of fir veneers wrapped in fiber. Essentially it is a regular plywood, covered in a layer of MDF for stability and durability.
• VC: The Veneer Core plywood comprises of alternate layers of common plywood. It has a grainy finish, and is quite sturdy and light, making it easy to work with.
